Overall use recommendations
Quick action on insects. The bacterium synthesizes a protein crystal during sporulation, called delta-endotoxin, which once ingested by the insect is transformed by the gastric juices into toxins that are fixed in the cells of the intestinal epithelium, causing lesions and paralysis of the digestive tract. The stop of the feeding is immediate. Death occurs 24 to 28 hours later and may be accompanied by septicemia.
