Research, development and innovation represents one of the pillars fundamental principles of Econatur, the backbone of our strategy, which the beginning has marked the evolution of the company.

Our projects place us at the forefront of biotechnology in the development of natural solutions for Agriculture, Livestock and Humans.

We have a multidisciplinary team formed by chemists, scientists, biologists and engineers who identify and develop research in different fields related to health.

Projecs

As a long-term objective, the Economic Corporation project will be will extend to the evelopment of more technological products aimed atextraction and purification of agricultural by-products active materials, directed to human health, nutraceutical, cosmetics and pharmacology, always based on natural chemistry.

Trials/ The Añoreta

Econatur has an experimental field located in Cordoba managed by experts from the company Biopharma. The objective is to improve the quality of the fruits and its organoleptic properties.

Research Development Lines

The general objective of the R & D & I strategy is the promotion of health through the promotion of a healthy and natural diet, thanks to the work in multidisciplinary activities within the chain of agrifood production, to produce natural food from quality, balanced from the point of view of macro and micronutrients, free of xenobiotic substances, with better organoleptic properties and with more functionality and produced in an environment where it maximizes production agronomic and minimize the environmental impact of agricultural activity.

For this we apply ethical principles in global ecology, based on in biotechnology, revaluation of by-products and circular economy.

The slogan Econatur Corporation is: “Produce more, and better quality, with less resources”.

As a long-term objective, the proyect of Econatur will extend to the development of more technological products aimed at the extraction and purification of agricultural by-products active materials, directed to human health, nutraceutical, cosmetics and pharmacology, always based on natural chemistry. Within this line, we are currently preparing a consortium project for the next CDTI FEDER INNTERCONECTA call that pursues the obtaining DHFG (Dihydroxyphenyl Glycol) and Oleocanthal to be used as natural nutraceuticals, coming from olives, with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant bioactivity, and aimed at a target of health related to chronic degenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson), main diseases of the 21st century.

2.1.- AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVE EFFICIENCY.

We develop new knowledge in natural chemistry that allow new active principles with biopesticidal capacity not bioaccumulatives that allow the elimination of toxic waste in the crops. The active principles that we develop allow its total natural degradation in natural secondary metabolites toxic.

2.1.3.- Natural biomarkers in crops and food that allow self validate the sustainable agronomic practices and secure

2.2.- DEVELOPMENT OF GLOBAL CROP MANAGEMENT, HIGH EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY

- Integrated management of eco-sustainable crops (AGS-AGRICULTURAL GLOBAL SYSTEM) and search for indicators of agronomic, food profitability, environmental in each.

- Design and development of AGS protocols for new crops in productive areas such as CHIA and QUINOA in Andalusia.

- Development of management of protected crops AGS using soilless management: Bioponics.

- Specific crop revaluation through integrated management design AGS-ECO.

- Development of AGS management in crops with high cost impact environmental: PLATANERA.

2.3.- SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENT

- Fractionation and purification of biomolecules.

- Design of industrial production pilot processes.

2.4.- INCORPORATION OF TECHNOLOGIES 4.0 IN AGRICULTURE AND AGROINDUSTRY

- Development of agronomic assistants via web based on GIS systems in situ and satellite indicators.

- Development of integral traceability technologies in foods 4.0.
