{"id":2727,"date":"2022-05-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/econatur.net\/product-development\/soil-disinfection-and-regeneration-of-soils\/"},"modified":"2025-06-21T09:29:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-21T09:29:33","slug":"soil-disinfection-and-regeneration-of-soils","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/econatur.net\/en\/solutions-for-your-crop\/soil-disinfection-and-regeneration-of-soils\/","title":{"rendered":"Soil: disinfection and regeneration of soils"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>SOIL<\/strong> is an improver for agricultural soils under high productive stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an <strong>allelopathic biostimulant<\/strong>, it is indicated for application to the soil to achieve a perfect physical, chemical and biological balance in accordance with the ideal requirements for the best development and maximum productive capacity of the implanted crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This product is composed of seaweed extract, a variety <em>Ascophyllum nodosum <\/em>. Its main functions are to <strong>improve the soil<\/strong> and to <strong>recover the microbiome<\/strong> in soils subjected to high production pressure thanks to its prebiotic capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is characterised by its <strong>prebiotic capacity<\/strong>, which re-establishes the microbiological balance in disease-conducive soils. It also has the ability to disinfect soils, in addition to favouring crop establishment by improving the physico-chemical properties of the substrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a final result, the planted crop shows greater vigour in its development and less susceptibility to pathogens causing wilt and root rot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to verify the effectiveness of <strong>SOIL<\/strong>, we have carried out numerous trials, the following two of which have been carried out on <strong>tomato and courgette<\/strong> crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tomato trial is taking place in Puebla (Mexico). The strategy used is the <strong>application of SOIL by drip irrigation<\/strong> at different doses before transplanting. As a final result, 15 days before transplanting, up to <strong>92% control<\/strong> of <em>Rhizoctonia<\/em> was observed, depending on the dose applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, a trial was carried out on courgettes, located in a greenhouse in Ruescas (Almeria). The strategy was to<strong> apply SOIL to the soil before courgette planting<\/strong> at 15 L\/ha. with soil analyses contrasted by public and private laboratories. As a final result, we obtained a reduction in the population of<em> Fusarium spp. <\/em>from 4700 colony forming units to 140, with <strong>97% control of<\/strong><em> Fusarium<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/5yn8AYOoEOM<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to highlight that <strong>SOIL<\/strong> is indicated <strong>for all types of crops<\/strong> before planting in soils with high agronomic wear. Its recommended doses are 15-20 L\/ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steps to follow for implementation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Soil preparation by shallow tillage to achieve a well loosened soil (avoid clumping).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Irrigate to full field capacity by localised irrigation. Seal the soil with plastic whenever possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application of the product by localised irrigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-irrigate with water to encourage incorporation and diffusion into the soil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the product to act before planting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOIL is an improver for agricultural soils under high productive stress.
