{"id":2731,"date":"2021-07-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-20T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/econatur.net\/product-development\/foliar-analysis-laboratory\/"},"modified":"2025-06-21T09:10:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-21T09:10:18","slug":"foliar-analysis-laboratory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/econatur.net\/en\/agriculture\/foliar-analysis-laboratory\/","title":{"rendered":"Foliar analysis laboratory"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/en\/agriculture\/foliar-analysis-laboratory\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/blog\/analisis-foliar\/\">Foliar analysis<\/a> provides a snapshot of the state of the crop at a given time and allows efficient crop management planning in order to optimise the use of inputs and increase the quality of the harvest.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why foliar analysis and what it consists of<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/en\/servicios\/laboratorio\/analisis-foliares\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/servicios\/laboratorio\/analisis-foliares\/\">foliar analysis<\/a> we can make a nutritional diagnosis and therefore issue a technical report on the management solutions necessary to complete the crop cycle successfully.<br>It will also allow us to analyse the presence of contaminating residues and, if so, to reduce them as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our agronomic laboratory team does not limit itself to mere analysis, but aims to improve quality parameters with repercussions on the organoleptic improvement of the final product, with a commitment to the cultivation of differentiated quality products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proper sampling is important to ensure that the diagnosis of the culture is accurate, therefore, we provide the following guidelines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need more information or to carry out analyses, please contact our<strong> <a class=\"rank-math-link\" href=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/en\/contact\/\">laboratory team.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instructions for collecting foliar samples<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For any questions or clarification, please contact us, our technical team is at your disposal to help you with whatever you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>where do I collect the sample?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection of homogeneous plots (sampling units). You must select representative plots of the farm or area to be characterised (crop, age, variety, soil, irrigation&#8230;). For each plot, a sample will be collected. If there is an area that is different from the rest, do not add this sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/seleccion-parcelas.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3086\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>how do I collect the sample?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fully developed, undamaged leaves, from the shoot of the year and from the centre of the stem (3rd-4th pair of leaves). Take 100\/200 leaves as a sample, zigzagging, avoiding trees close to other plots. Take 8 leaves, complete, from each cardinal point of the tree, at the height of the operator&#8217;s eyes and from shoots taken at random.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/recoleccion-de-muestras.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3085\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/econatur.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/recoleccion-de-hojas-para-muestras-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3084\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sample storage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Storage in paper bags and refrigerator (4-5 \u00b0C).
