BALANCER + PROSOIL: when biostimulation and biofertilisation work together
Extensive agriculture faces the challenge of maintaining productivity whilst improving input efficiency and soil functionality. In this context, the integration of biostimulation and biofertilisation enables a more comprehensive approach to crop production: not only by acting on the plant, but also on the soil and the rhizosphere microbiome.
This is the strategy proposed by Econatur with BALANCER + PROSOIL, two complementary solutions designed to promote crop development and restore the functional potential of the soil-root system.
BALANCER is a fast-acting biostimulant formulated with free amino acids, organic carbon and botanical extracts obtained using the patented ept® (Econatur Polyphenol Technology). This combination provides readily available energy for vegetative growth and promotes the mobilisation and uptake of nutrients, helping to increase photosynthetic activity, leaf mass and the crop’s yield potential
For its part, PROSOIL acts on the soil component. It is a microbiological soil improver based on a consortium of beneficial microorganisms, designed to promote the recovery of the rhizosphere microbiota and improve the functionality of degraded soils. Its formulation combines microorganisms capable of nitrogen fixation, the solubilisation of phosphorus and potassium, and the production of bioactive compounds, thereby promoting a more efficient interaction between the soil, roots and plant.
Wheat yields: an additional 3.4 t/ha
The BALANCER + PROSOIL combination was evaluated in a trial of soft wheat (Tocayo variety) conducted in Grañén (Huesca, Spain) during the 2025–2026 growing season. The trial comprised 12 treatments, 3 replicates and 36 plots, and statistical analysis confirmed significant differences between treatments.
The BALANCER + PROSOIL treatment yielded 9,643 kg/ha, compared with 6,176 kg/ha for the control, representing an increase of 56.1 per cent, equivalent to an additional 3,467 kg/ha. The treatment was classified in homogeneous group A, whilst the control was classified in group C, indicating that the observed difference is statistically significant.

A system-wide strategy, not just a product strategy.
The results suggest the value of combining two complementary approaches: stimulating the plant to improve its productive capacity whilst, at the same time, promoting a more biologically functional soil. BALANCER provides the biostimulation and physiological response component, whilst PROSOIL acts on the microbiota and the functionality of the rhizosphere.
The initiative presented in Grañén, as part of the CULTIVA Event innovation and knowledge transfer ecosystem, reinforces the importance of validating agronomic solutions under real-world growing conditions. CULTIVA has established itself as a meeting point for farmers, technicians, researchers and businesses to bring innovation and knowledge to the field.
BALANCER + PROSOIL thus represents a management strategy based on three inseparable elements: Plant + Soil + Microbiome, aiming to transform biostimulation and biofertilisation into a measurable yield response.
