MICROESTRESS
Development of new agricultural biostimulants, based on the combination of microorganisms and plant extracts, against water stress in cereal and leguminous crops
Water stress significantly affects crop growth and yields. This stress is expected to become more and more intense due to global climate change. Water stress affects most of the vital functions of crops, so that there is practically no physiological process that is not affected by it, which is why there is a need for the development of a new biostimulant product to combat oxidative stress caused by drought, based on extracts from microorganisms and agricultural by-products that will boost the productivity of crops such as cereals and leguminous plants, protecting them from the effects of water stress. and legumes, protecting them from abiotic stress due to lack of water and increasing the vigour of the plants in each phenological cycle to prevent diseases and increase the profitability of the crop.
