Design of feed additives based on standardised bioactive extracts from the table olive industry and their validation in animal models

Additives have taken on a major role as part of animal feed, with the aim of improving the production process and its preservation, thus improving the nutritional quality of the food. For this reason, we have tested the development of different types of additives and we are aware of all their benefits, based on extracts from the reuse of table olive waste, rich in active ingredients capable of reducing the use of medicines and promoting sustainable and higher quality livestock farming. Therefore, thanks to the additives, animal production costs are considerably reduced.
