Trial on greenhouse courgettes
Trial on greenhouse courgettes
We have recently carried out a trial together with the Virgen de Las Nieves Cooperative, in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Seville (Spain), specifically for courgettes, in a horticultural greenhouse. Under an integral management strategy with Econatur products, highlighting soil disinfection with SOIL to control soil diseases such as Fusarium, Nematodes, Pythium, etc.
Objective: To condition a soil subjected to a high degree of agronomic wear, recovering the productive potential of the plantation. Control the population of soil pathogens.
Trial design
The trial was carried out in a 1500 m2 greenhouse, planted on 16 September with courgette variety Lucía, with previous problems of Fusarium spp. and nematodes.
Pre-planting applications of SOIL and NEMICIN and FUSARUM were applied during the crop cycle to maintain control of these pathogens.
Periodic soil samples were taken to quantify the population of Fusarium spp. and nematodes. Two neighbouring greenhouses and the same greenhouse in the previous year were used as reference. Neighbouring greenhouses received applications with commercial references.
Evolution of the population of Fusarium spp. and nematodes after the application of ECONATUR products in the different evaluations:
Conclusions
SOIL provided the ideal conditions for the development of the crop, complemented by FUSARUM and NEMICIN. The ECONATUR strategy achieved:
